Welcome to The Ally!

Stop by for a drink and soak in our inviting atmosphere.

The Alhampton Inn has been extending a warm welcome for 350 years and counting. With snug corners and crackling fires, The Ally offers comfort throughout the colder seasons. When the sun shines, you can relax on our charming front patio or enjoy the spacious rear garden under the awning. Our pub is both child and dog friendly, and the generous car park ensures ample space for friends and family alike. We look forward to your visit.

Reopened by the community, The Alhampton Inn is a classic country pub that aims to be a welcoming spot for everyone. We're proud to showcase Somerset’s finest in a peaceful yet easily reachable hamlet.

Our drink menu features everything from real ales to local ciders, and we offer a delicious selection of food. Chef Ross Derby delights guests with his culinary skills in our kitchen every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, and his Sunday Roasts are not to be missed. Tuesdays bring regular pizza vendors, while Foodie Fridays present an array of pop-up culinary events. For special occasions, we also offer private catering at the pub to accommodate all your entertaining needs.
